Places with breathtaking views in Rio

The first on this list could not be any other: Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer, with a breathtaking view of the city, worth a visit to take beautiful photos and appreciate the beauty of Rio de Janeiro from above.

Mirante do Joá - The belvedere is very small, but has a beautiful view of the sea. From there, you can see the Elevado das Bandeiras, São Conrado beach, Rocinha, Morro Dois Irmãos, Av. Niemeyer and Vidigal.

Vista Chinesa - Rio de Janeiro's most charming viewpoint, although a little remote, is also worth a visit to this beautiful corner of the city. The place has a parking lot, so you can get there by car. But there are also bus stops, or you can walk through the Tijuca National Park.

Dona Marta Viewpoint: As with Vista Chinesa, Mirante Dona Marta can also be accessed through the Tijuca Forest. Parking is limited there, so it's recommended to arrive early or use transportation apps such as Uber or cab.

Penhasco Dois Irmãos Municipal Natural Park - The park is a great option for a quiet day out, with great places to take photos and connect with nature.

From the wooden decks you can see some of the city's most important landmarks: Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Jardim Botânico, Corcovado and the beaches of Leblon and Ipanema.

Yup Star - Rio de Janeiro's Ferris wheel. As well as enjoying the ride on the Ferris wheel, when you're up there you can see the port area from a breathtaking angle!
